UPDATE - Blaby District Council Emerging Local Plan

"We are continuing to work on the new Blaby District Local Plan and as per the statutory process our Regulation 19 document is due to be published in April 2026, following consideration by Council at its meeting on 14 April.

This stage is the formal publication of our draft plan to allow the public to comment on its contents before it is sent to the Planning Inspectorate for independent examination.

It is a crucial step where key stakeholders and communities can formally comment, impact the final plan. As such we will be using the time before April to communicate with District residents and stakeholders, aiming to demystify the plan making process, as well as detailing how they can respond and explaining what the next steps will be.
