Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Groby Road (A50), Glenfield

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Multiple utilities under Cottingham Groundworks to facilitate a new housing connections scheme.

The breakdown of restrictions is as below: A Lane Closure is required on the weekends of 04/10/25-05/10/25 and 11/10/25- 12/10/25 between the hours of 08:00 – 18:00 A Lane Closure is required for the weekend of 17/10/25 – 20/10/25 between the hours of 08:30 – 19:00. A Road Closure is required on the weekend of 18/10/25 – 19/10/25 the road will be closed for the entire duration, access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles only. A Further Lane Closure will be in place 20/10/25 – 24/10/25 that will be in place for 24 hours for the duration.

Followed by a final Lane Closure on the week of 27/10/25 – 31/10/25 between the hours of 08:00 – 19:00.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site.
